It's Feelgood Friday with Alex on the Best Time of the Day Show, the best way to start the weekend with brilliant music and hilarious chat. Includes Album and Record of the Week.

It's the best way to start your weekend, tune into Feelgood Friday on the Best Time of the Day Show with Alex. Keeping you away from the land of nod, expect Alex to play only the best selection of music interspersed with hilarious conversation. This morning, more rips in rah-rah skirts and tears in trousers, it's "The Hole Story"; we discuss the merit of the string vest in "String Vest Theory" and more delving into the unknown in "The Al-X Files". Pause for Thought at 3.20am and the final chance of the week to shake your tail-feather, and whatever else, in the 4.15 One-Off Canteen.

There will be one more track from Album of the Week by Roxette, Record of the Week from Alison Krauss and Union Station, Lester's Library tracks from Glen Matlock and a vintage album track from Queen, a slice of reggae by Inner Circle from the Listener's Library and - it's Friday - which means for the final track we Ramp up the Camp with a spectacularly flamboyant track to get you in that weekend mood.
