Entertaining you through the night with his inspired daftness and eclectic music choices, it is Alex on the Best Time of the Day Show, including a new Record and Album of the Week.

Fight off those Monday blues by tuning into Alex on The Best Time of the Day Show for a dose of night owl comedy and fantastic music. This morning, Alex invites you to grumble about couples who get on your nerves in "Get a Room!"; last week we successfully re-branded slugs as misunderstood creatures of unspoken beauty, now we are doing the same with nasal hair in "Nasal Appraisal"; and we are creating our very own Lady Gaga, dressed in pork scratchings and a Yorkshire pudding hat. Plus, there is another batch of inductees into the 4.15 One-Off Canteen. There is a new Record of the Week from Asa, a track from the new Album of the Week by Sara Bareilles, a track by The Raspberries from the Listener's Library, while Alex plays the new D:Ream track and one from B.B. King from Lester's Library. Beware, the Drums of Pun or the Mallet of Stupidity could go off at any time. You have been warned!
