Another slab of inspired daftness and great tunes to entertain you through the night. More from Album and Record of the Week, plus songs from Lester's and Listener's Libraries.

It's the only way to keep yourself entertained throughout the night with laugh-out-loud chat and playlist crammed with classic tracks, old and new.

Tuesdays just got a whole odder thanks to Alex on The Best Time of the Day Show. There's the usual guarentee of fine music, old and new muddled in between the surreal chat-chat, which includes tales of you seeing someone you know in an enexpected place in "Rela-telly-tives" and stories of when you finally got around to doing something, in "Was It Worth The Wait?" From Lester's Library there's a lost track by Magna Carta and a punk classic from Sham 69. The Listener's Library track is by Elvis Costello. The Record of the Week is from the acclaimed Hurts, and you can hear a track from the new Album of the Week by Elton John & Leon Russell. The 4.15 One-Off Canteen opens for business as usual, and Pause for Thought at 3.20am is with Rabbi Y.Y.Rubenstein.

Expect the unexpected with Alex, and you will still be in for a surprise.
