Entertaining you through the night with his inspired daftness and eclectic music choices, it is Alex on The Best Time of the Day Show, including a new Record and Album of the Week.

Fight off those Monday blues by tuning into Alex on The Best Time of the Day Show for a dose of nightowl comedy and fantastic music. It is an All-New Monday with a bunch of new threads. First up, we are living life like a member of the Carry On team, in the thread "Carry On Wayward Pun". Next up - inspired by producer Dr. Strangelove's childhood confusion over Elvis Presley and Shakin' Stevens - it is the "Similar Features Feature". National Laundry Week begins; hilarious wrong temperature tragedies and high-spin horror stories. Pause for Thought at 3.20am plus another batch of newcomers barge their way into the 4.15 One-Off Canteen.
There is a new Album of the Week from The Hoosiers, you can hear a track from it, and a new Record of the Week from Robert Plant & Band of Joy. Lester's Library tracks come from Simon McBride and Tito Puente, while the Listener's Library track is that classic 80s tune by Landscape. Buffoons are go!
