Alex, AKA The Dark Lord, brings more laughs and music through the small hours on The Best Time of the Day Show. More tracks from Lester's & the Listener's Libraries and more.
Spend the night with the Dark Lord, who will be keeping you laughing with his witty conversation interspersed with a great mix of music. This morning, Alex continues to take suggestions as to which TV show he could slot himself into best; Two Fat Ladies and Fawlty Towers are amongst suggestions. He continues to pay tribute to those members of the band that nobody can remember in the thread, Remember the Member. The celebrations for National Boredom Week continue with more tales of horrifyingly boring situations. Plus, there are more newcomers into the 4.15 One-Off Canteen and Pause for Thought with David Wilkinson.
From Lester's Library, Alex swipes two CDs from the top of the new release pile with offerings from The Somebodys and singer/songwriter, Mary Gauthier. The Listener's Library track this morning is a forgotten gem from Dave Mason. There is another chance to hear Record of the Week from Phil Collins, plus another classic track from the new Earth, Wind and Fire hits compilation which is Album of the Week.
