The Dark Lord presents The Best Time Of The Day Show. Includes The Listeners' Library, Lester's Library, Record & Album of the Week and Pause for Thought at 3.20am.

Alex, aka The Dark Lord, presents a blend of music and conversation. As many parts of the nation suffer from World Cup disappointment, Alex is here to present The Bright Side; finding alternative uses for all of those flags, the players and generally looking at the positive side of being thrashed out of the World Cup. There is a new thread, Call Me Irresistible: the sign says "wet paint" but do you still touch it? Do you say "Allo Vera" to your supermarket partner everytime you go down the shampoo isle? You know you do. Alex declares this week National Shed Week, and the doors are open once again to the 4.15 One-Off Canteen.
From Lester's Library there are new tracks from Dan Reed and Tift Merritt, and your choice from the Listener's Library comes from Spear of Destiny. There is a track from the new Album of the Week by Kylie Minogue, Record of the Week from The Hoosiers, and Pause for Thought at 3.20am.
