Mark Lamarr with Pete Molinari in session

Mark Lamarr provides three hours of musical greatness to tantalise your ears, plus a great session with country blues artist Pete Molinari.

Mark Lamarr provides three hours of musical greatness to tantalise your ears, plus a great session with country blues artist Pete Molinari.

The featured album's been put aside for this week and instead Mark tips his hat to Fathers Day. It appears there are few songs that are lovingly dedicated to fathers so this is definitely a unique take on the day with songs like Sweet Daddy Soul by The Lamp Sisters, Cool Dad by Rose Carnegie and My Father's Son by The Idle Race. The gospel slot pays homage to the Heavenly Father with songs performed by The South West Michigan State Choir and the Isaac Douglas Singers.

If all that doesn't whet your musical appetite then there's also a collection of songs from this weeks featured artist, dance hall king Barrington Levy, plus a gamut of music ranging from Etta James to Jimmy Dean, the Movie Star Junkies to Dolly Parton with Porter Wagoner... there's even a mash up with Elvis Presley and Bob Marley's Wailers.
