Alex may be away but Lynn Parsons will be here to entertain you through the night with lively chat and an eclectic mix of music including Record and Album of the Week tracks.

While Alex is away on the other side of the pond, we welcome Lynn Parsons to the Best Time of the Day Show. If anybody can entertain you through the night, it is Lynn and this morning she asks: which three guests would you have on your fantasy chat show? Be prepared for some odd responses. In place of Lester's Library, Lynn plays a couple of Songs from the Chalet: Feist re-works a Bee Gees track, and there's a track by Naturally 7 with Michael Buble also. The Listener's Library track comes from Pink Floyd, there's a track from the new Album of the Week by Renee Fleming and the new Record of the Week by new artist, Tiffany Page. All of this, and Pause for Thought at 3.20am.
