Cookery challenge hosted by John Torode and Gregg Wallace. The five most talented cooks in the country remain. They are put through their paces as the competition gets tougher.

Top chef and restaurateur John Torode, and food writer and ingredients expert Gregg Wallace are continuing their search for the country's best amateur cook.

The five most talented cooks in the country remain, and they are put through their paces as the competition gets tougher. First, each contestant is given an especially tailored masterclass at a top London restaurant to help them iron out their weaknesses as cooks, and then they must produce one dish that demonstrates to the judges their improvement.

After that their heads are on the block as they have to create a dinner worthy of the magnificent surroundings of one of the country's most iconic landmarks - The Tower of London.

There is no room for any mistakes as only the best will carry on in the competition and get one step closer to becoming MasterChef...
