Age Concern says many pensioners are finding they're not eligible for cold weather payments. Graham Stewart hears your stories.
The freezing temperatures that Scotland has experienced over the last month should have triggered huge payouts of Cold Weather Payments - the supplement paid out to elderly people if the thermometer registered less than zero for seven consecutive days. But, according to Age Concern and Help the Aged in Scotland, many pensioners calling their helpline have discovered they're not eligible for the extra cash.
