A report out today from a right-leaning think tank claims that the unemployed often earn more in benefits than they do in work. The Centre for Social Justice proposes spending more than Β£3.7bn to subsidise those on low wages in order to make work pay for more people. Are those on the dole trapped by the system? Or has Britain lost its work ethic?
