Among the events on the schedule are the men's and women's 200m and the men's 1500m, an event in which Britain has a great Olympic history with the likes of Sebastian Coe, Steve Ovett, Steve Cram and Peter Elliott all winning medals.
This year has seen the emergence of another potential middle-distance hero in Andy Baddeley, who broke the 3:50 barrier in winning the Dream Mile in Oslo in June, and who has his eyes fixed on 1500m glory in Beijing.
