Jazz composer and pianist Julian Joseph goes in search of black classical musicians from the past. It's a journey that takes him back to the appearance of a black trumpeter at the court of Henry VIII, to black musicians on the Napoleonic battlefield and 19th-century violin prodigies who entertained royalty.
