Jim is with some hot stuff in the driveway garden as he plants up a range of outrageously brightly coloured plants fit to get any gardener hot under the collar. Ne'er cast a clout til May's oot, and the same applies to bedding plants so this week it's finally safe to get those bedding plants out and Jim, Carole and Lesley are all doing just that in a variety of ingenious ways. Lesley also gives her recipes for success with hanging baskets. Heather Harbour in Arbroath has a big problem with rabbits, which indiscriminately eat everything in her garden. Carolyn attempts to create a border that Heather will love, but the rabbits will hate. Carolyn also brings a retrospective view of Gardening Scotland, showing the tears and tantrums of show winners and losers as well as revelling in the atmosphere of the show.
