Fast-moving thriller set in 1990s Paris. Prison official Yvette Lalande is kidnapped on her way to work by a notorious group of terrorists. But what is the link to events in Algeria thirty years before? It appears 'someone in authority' has good reason to hamper Commissaire Grosset's police investigations.
