About Radio Wales

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Wales is in a unique position as the only national radio station for Wales in the English language.

About Radio Wales

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Wales broadcasts 19 hours of programmes a day made all over Wales, specifically for those living in the nation.

We also have a wide audience across the UK and worldwide, who can listen to the station through platforms such as our Listen Online via Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sounds on computers, tablets and smartphones, and now also via 'smart speakers'.

At the heart of the schedule is the kind of information vital to everyday living.

Our news and sport programmes and bulletins keep you up to date with the latest events in Wales and elsewhere in the world. Our traffic & travel updates keep you moving - updated every half hour during weekday daytimes, and on into the evenings.

Contact with our audience is really important to us. Weekdays between 6 AM 1 AM, our programmes are live and immediately accessible by phone on 03700 100 110 (calls cost no more than 01 and 02 landlines), text on 81012 or by emailing radiowales@bbc.co.uk. For more detailed contact information, scroll down the page.

It's our listeners who determine the direction of programmes. They put their questions to our presenters and studio guests, debate hot topics, share their stories and send us their dedications.

We make even more links with the listeners and their communities when the station goes on the road around Wales, attending special events, festivals and shows.

As well as listening live on FM, AM, DAB or online, you can also catch up with programmes you’ve missed online via our website and on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sounds – on your computer, tablet or smartphone. Visit the schedule to view our shows and listen online.
