Our Partners
We’ve worked with some incredible people to make Big Blue Live come to your screens, almost too many to mention. Below are some of the special partners we’ve teamed up with.
-
Our fantastic co-producers on Big Blue Live. They’re woven into every fibre of this production across the board, to make a huge splash across the pond. Big Blue Live will air in America on the 31st August and the 1st and 2nd of September and will be the first time PBS produce a live wildlife series in the USA.
-
Not only have the aquarium played host to Big Blue Live, allowing us to use their incredible facilities as a live studio and their exhibits to tell the story of Monterey Bay, but they have been instrumental to the success of the programme. Providing expert advice on all levels of production, Big Blue Live wouldn’t be happening without them.
-
Filled with some of the brightest minds and state of the art equipment, we’re indepted to Hopkins for allowing us to feature some of their research, and accompany and feature some of their illustrious researchers as they uncover new science.
-
The Seymour Marine Discovery Center is dedicated to educating people about the role scientific research plays in the understanding and conservation of the world’s oceans. They’ve played host to our production team and presenters, especially featuring their extraordinary collection of whale skeletons.
-
We’re really excited to be working with the NOAA Sanctuaries team covering Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary together with the NOAA Sanctuaries West Coast Regional Office, and NOAA teams across the country; researchers at the forefront of ocean science. Our presenters will have unprecedented access on-board their vessels and alongside their scientists, as the ocean gives up even more of its secrets
-
A unique oceanographic research centre that promotes a peer relationship between engineers and scientists. With state-of-the-art equipment they’re uncovering ever more science, especially in the deep ocean of Monterey Bay and its underwater canyon.
