Volunteering England

Works to inform and modernise approaches to volunteering policy, enhancing practice and improving the quality of the volunteering experience for the people of Scotland.

Do-it

Part of the YouthNet charity, Do-it works with partners in volunteer centres and voluntary organisations to ensure that all those who want to volunteer can do so easily.

TimeBank

A national volunteering charity which supports individuals and businesses to find rewarding volunteering. TimeBank design projects that enable volunteers to have a positive impact in the community.

vinspired

Aimed at 16-25 year olds, vinspired is the national young volunteers service. It aims to help young people volunteer in ways that matter to them.

Age UK

Aims to improve the lives of older people through the provision of specialist activities, advice, information and training. Age UK combines Age Concern and Help the Aged.

Contact the Elderly

Tackles acute loneliness among socially isolated older people over the age of 75, through free, local monthly tea parties for small groups of elderly and volunteers.

The Cinnamon Trust

Offers support for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets.

Independent Age

Provides lifelong support to older people on very low incomes.

National Benevolent Fund for the Aged (NBFA)

Offers a range of practical services which actively encourage independent living in old age and help to combat loneliness.

Women's Royal Voluntary Service (WRVS)

Via its range of activities, services and support, WRVS helps older people all over the country to stay independent at home and active in their community.
