Vote Terms and Conditions
- From 0900 on July 4 2016 until 16:00 on Fri 2 September you will be invited to vote on your favourite Roald Dahl Character from the shortlist of 27 online. The 27 characters have been selected in dialogue with the Roald Dahl Estate.
- You will find the list on the and on the . You can register your vote by electronically ticking the box beside the character you wish to vote for.
- You can only vote from within the UK (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man). You cannot vote by any other method. Online votes are limited to 1 per registered user. Online votes on different devices will count towards this limit. We'll be counting down the Top 10 starting in Good Morning Wales on Roald Dahl’s birthday - 13 September - finishing with a special Roald Dahl programme on Sunday 18 September where you'll hear the Number 1.
- The open and close times and dates for the Vote may change so listen carefully for on-air announcements. Any votes registered outside the announced voting window will not count.
- This is not a competition and there will be no prize.
- The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ reserves the right to disqualify entries or suspend voting if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ has the right to substitute an alternative selection method at its absolute discretion.
- If, for any reason, the online voting system fails, the vote may be suspended or a contingency plan may be actioned.
- The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend the vote at any time.
- The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction, or any other problem with any online system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered and recorded.
- Please note that any Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ staff member or anyone who is directly connected in any way with the production of the programme is not eligible to vote.
