To book wheelchair access to any of our 5 venues please call TicketWeb on: 0800 988 4440
Opening hours are:
Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm
Saturday 10:30am-3:30pm
If you don’t require wheelchair access but still require a PA/Carer to attend with you please and then apply for the PA/Carer ticket.
Please note our disabled customer facilities are designed for use solely by disabled visitors to the event and we are not able to extend their use to those with short-term injuries (for example broken legs) or women who are pregnant, etc

If you require additional support to help you enjoy the festival you can apply for a free PA/Carer ticket. Please fill out the registration form and send it back to us with supporting information.

Documentation
All applications require supporting documentation as evidence of disabled access requirements. This is mandatory in order for applications to be processed. This information helps us plan to best meet your access requirements.
Please include a copy of one of the following with your completed form;
- DLA/PIP letter or equivalent
- Medical professional’s letter
- Blue Badge (not sufficient if applying for a PA/Carer ticket but adequate for parking only requests)
- D/deaf or blind registration
- The CredAbility Access Card
- If you have none of the above email access@nimbusdisability.com for further information
All documentation is kept secure and destroyed securely after processing.
Registration Deadline
All registration forms need to have been completed and returned in full, with all relevant supporting information, and returned within 7 days of ticket purchase.
The final deadline for confirmation is Friday 17th March in order to ensure we are able to meet your needs. Please bear in mind space is limited and seating is allocated on a first come first served basis
Venue Information
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 6 Music Festival takes place in 5 venues across Glasgow each with different access facilities:
O2 Academy
The O2 Academy has level access and whilst there is no parking on site, there is a car park at Bridge Street subway station (around 300 metres away on Eglinton Street) and a drop off point at the side of the venue. A viewing area is available which can accommodate a combination of seating and wheelchair users – to access this are you need to book a space in advance. Accessible toilets are also available.

Barrowland Ballroom
The Barrowland venue is located on Gallowgate. There is no accessible parking nearby but a designated drop off bay will be usable on the night.
The Barrowland is typically NOT an accessible venue. However, for 6 Music a ‘stair-climber’ will be available to assist wheelchair users. This piece of equipment designed to lift a wheelchair user up / down a flight of stairs may not be suitable for all types of chairs and may be subject to weight restrictions. Please make your needs clear on your registration form if you think you may need to use this equipment.
A viewing platform will be available on site but there is limited capacity and spaces need to be booked in advance. Accessible toilets are on site.

St Luke’s
Parking and drop off points are available nearby at Bain Street and Millroad Street and the venue has level access from here to the main entrance.
There is no viewing platform but a designated area near the stage has been allocated. Spaces will be allocated following registration on a first come first served basis. There is an accessible toilet on site.

Tramway
Access from Albert Drive (Tramway's main entrance) is level and through one set of automated doors. The majority of Tramway's event spaces are located on ground level and a lift is available.
Two performance spaces will be operating: Tramway 1 will have a small viewing platform. Tramway 4 will have a designated area near to the stage. Spaces in each need to be booked in advance. There are multiple accessible toilets on site.

SWG3
Drop off points are very close and accessible parking can be pre-booked at info@swg3.tv. A small viewing area will be designated for disabled customers. Places on the viewing platform need to be booked in advance. Accessible toilets are available on site.
