Radio 2 Folk Awards 2017
1. In order to vote, you must not be a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ employee, employee of any of its affiliates, close relative of any such employees or connected to the Folk Awards directly or through a close relative.
2. Votes can be made online by accessing from 1900 on Wednesday 8th February 2017 and must be received no later than 2359 on Friday 17th February 2017. Any votes received outside the voting window will not count.

The shortlist is derived from a panel of Folk Music experts from across the world of Folk Music, selecting from a longlist of all eligible albums. The shortlist consists of the albums selected by the panel as the most significant folk/roots album released between the 1st January 2016 and 31st December 2016. (Reissues or compilations do not qualify.)
4. The winner will be publically announced at the Folk Awards event on 5th April 2017.
5. No correspondence relating to the awards or the vote will be entered.
6. There will be no prize for anyone taking part in the vote.
7. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ reserves the right to disqualify entries or suspend voting if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ has the right to substitute an alternative selection method at its absolute discretion.
8. For purpose of verifying any claim for refunds (where offered for telephone votes) or investigating possible online voting irregularities the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ may use cookies, log IP addresses or analyse the information from your Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ account.
