Paddy’s Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge

3 nations, 2 wheels, 1 man.

Radio 2's Paddy McGuinness took on the ultimate endurance ride of his life - cycling from Wales, through England, and finishing in Scotland, all to help raise money for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Children in Need.

Discover more about Paddy's challenge

Paddy's Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge took place from Monday 11 to Friday 15 November - he pedalled almost 300 miles from Wrexham to Glasgow. The route took him through eight counties – Flintshire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire - including a stop at Preston, where this year's Radio 2 in the Park took place in Moor Park – onto Westmorland, Cumberland, Dumfriesshire and Lanarkshire, finishing at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Pacific Quay building in Scotland.

And Paddy didn't undertake this challenge on just any bicycle... he completed the route on an iconic, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Children in Need customised and modified, Raleigh Chopper bike.

Thank you to all the Radio 2 listeners who have so far made a donation and those who cheered Paddy on to help him to raise much needed funds. This money will help make life lighter for children across the UK. The need has never been greater as right now Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Children in Need is only able to help one in eight of the organisations who ask for money.
