The best moments from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Music Awards 2016
Well what a glorious calvacade of delights that was, from Matty 1975's wondrous shoes - "I think they're made of dog" - to Ricky Wilson in a mask pranking all the acts backstage, and of course tonnes and tonnes of great performances.
Here's a selection of the evening's best moments:
1. The backstage lightsabres
Behind the scenes, performers were encouraged to play with lightsabres (or flourescent lightbulbs at any rate) for the benefit of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ photographer. The results were quite something.

And the feeling appears to be entirely mutual...

5. Ricky Wilson's alter-ego Sandy Branchline
Ricky Wilson of Kaiser Chiefs had the unenviable task of interviewing everyone backstage in character, as the European rock journo Sandy Branchline. He did manage to fool most of his targets, although Fearne Cotton claims she smelled a rat quite early on.
