It's Grin Up North

It's Grin Up North is a great radio show on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Newcastle and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Tees with two hours of gags, sketches and great music hosted by Steffen Peddie, Fridays from 8pm. It also provides a home for new and upcoming comedy, supporting and nurturing comedy writing talent from right across the North East.

As part of the radio show, each month we're going to run Comedy Writing Workshops across the region where you'll be able to share your thoughts and ideas for sketches, jokes or even just funny stories while learning the skills to make them leaner, clearer and, most importantly, funnier!

The very best might even make it on air on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Newcastle and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Tees.

The Comedy Workshops are totally FREE and you don't need ANY experience either.

However, if you cant make a workshop, or don't think they're for you then you can still get involved by emailing us with your comedy ideas using the email address below.
