Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Daytime recommissions its highly-acclaimed drama series Moving On

Eva Pope (Waterloo Road, 32, Brinkburn Street); Reece Dinsdale (Coronation Street, The Chase); Christine Bottomley (Land Girls, The Secret Diaries Of Miss Anne Lister); Dean Lennox Kelly (Shameless, Collision); and Paul Usher (Brookside, The Bill) are to star in a new series of Moving On, on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One, which began filming in Liverpool this week.

An initial five episodes have been commissioned for a new series of the drama for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Daytime, created by multi-Bafta and Emmy award-winning writer Jimmy McGovern (The Accused).

Speaking about the commission, Liam Keelan, Controller of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Daytime, says: "The reception that the second series of Moving On received from the audience speaks volumes about how Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Daytime is delivering distinctive drama, which our viewers love.

"The quality of acting and writing in the last series proved to be a real hit with our viewers and I'm delighted to be able to commission an initial five episodes of the series for the coming year."

The new series of Moving On will again comprise of stand-alone episodes, all linked by the common theme of how to move on in life, and will tackle contemporary issues from gambling addiction to the difficulties of being able to conceive.

Moving On, created by Jimmy McGovern, will be executive produced by Liam Keelan for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and Colin McKeown for LA Productions.

It is being filmed on location in and around Liverpool and will be shown in autumn 2011.

The second series of Moving On is currently scheduled to be repeated on Sunday nights later this year.
