TV presenter Nick Knowles (DIY SOS, Real Rescues, Who Dares Wins) has signed up to host a brand new Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two Daytime quiz show, Perfection, where only 100 per cent accuracy can win the jackpot.

The answer is always true or false, with topics ranging from geography and science through to the bizarre. Contestants will have to decide if statements like: Italy is larger by area than the UK; hydrogen makes up 78 per cent of the air we breathe; and elephants can jump, are true or false.

It might seem simple but if the contestant makes one single mistake, the other three players have a chance to steal the game.

In a final twist, the contestant can negotiate with competitors to join them for a share of the prize. But will they strike an agreement? Every day the stakes get even higher as the money rolls over, giving players another chance to hit the jackpot.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Daytime has also re-commissioned a third series of Pointless, the game show where obscure knowledge is the key to success, hosted by comedian Alexander Armstrong. Since its launch in August 2009, the series has quickly become a favourite with daytime audiences. The highest rating episode so far aired on Thursday 25 March 2010, with 1.93 million people tuning in (15.6 per cent share).

Both series have been commissioned by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Daytime controller Liam Keelan, who says: "Quizzes remain hugely popular with our audiences, who are always looking for new formats and ways of perfecting their general knowledge. I'm really thrilled to add this innovative new show to our daytime line-up."

Pam Cavannagh is the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Executive Producer for both series. Perfection will have 30x45-minute shows and is a 12 Yard production. The Executive Producers are David Young and Michael Mannes.

Pointless is a Remarkable Television, an Endemol company, production, the Executive Producers are Tom Blakeson and David Flynn, and Series Producer is Michelle Woods.
