Being Human

Being Human

Dark, sexy, witty drama Being Human returns for a six-part series following its hugely successful pilot last February, which prompted an online petition from fans calling for a full series.

Russell Tovey (Little Dorrit, Doctor Who, The History Boys), Lenora Crichlow (Sugar Rush, Doctor Who, Kiss Of Death) and Aidan Turner (The Clinic) star as three 20-something housemates trying to live normal lives despite suffering from very unusual afflictions – one is a werewolf, one is a vampire and one is a ghost.

Tovey reprises his role as the lovable George, battling with his double identity as a mild-mannered and geeky hospital porter who, for one night a month, is transformed into a flesh-hungry, predatory werewolf.

Turner plays the good-looking and laid-back Mitchell who, in contrast to George, has the gift of the gab and an easy confidence with the ladies. But he is also a vampire struggling with going cold turkey from the blood he craves.

Completing the trio is Annie (Crichlow), a talkative ghost lacking in self-confidence and desperate for company.

Annie is still pining for her fiance – to whom she was to be married before the fatal accident that left her with her ghostly affliction – who just happens to be the landlord of their house.

The series follows the housemates as they do their best to live their lives as normally as possible, despite their strange and dark secrets.

But with unwelcome intruders into their world, rumblings about an impending revolution from the vampire underworld and constant threats of exposure – on top of the usual issues faced by young people surrounding love, work and friendships – the only thing they may be able to rely on in their heightened world is each other.

A Being Human blog will update regularly before and during transmission of the drama for fans to engage with the mythology, story and characters.

In addition, exclusive online-only prequel films will tell the story of how each of the characters came to be.

Fans will be able to take these films and embed or share them on their own blogs and profile pages.

The blog will be written by those closest to the show and fans will be able to talk to them through it. There will also be regular exclusive video packages posted, which will let fans into some of the secrets and challenges faced by the Being Human team.

A Touchpaper Television production.

P.A.s

Set against an emotional backdrop of friendship, ambition, sex and filing, P.A.s is a new offbeat drama following the fortunes of four fabulous personal assistants in the City.

Created by Gabbie Asher, P.A.s brings together many of the elements that make up every day office life, through the characters of Lucy, Midge, Sid, Nicole plus Grace – the seemingly perfect, but utterly mysterious, girl at the centre of it all.

On the surface, the show explores the secrets and lies that the women hold, the men they date and work for and the balance of power between them and their highly-paid, hugely privileged bosses.

But an extraordinary event in the opening episode is the starting point for a mystery that reverberates throughout the series leaving viewers questioning what happened, who is responsible and what dark secrets lurk beneath the bright lights of the City.

P.A.s is an exciting multiplatform offering for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Three, with the office fun continuing online and on mobile.

Features include gossip overheard in the P.A.s office, an exciting website which switches to an after-hours office environment and a widget allowing users to keep up-to-date with the latest P.A.s news.

The female leads are played by some of the hottest young talent from the UK and Ireland – Laura Aikman, Annabel Scholey, Ruth Negga, Maimie McCoy and Olivia Grant.

P.A.s also stars Mark Benton, Robert Gant, Archie Panjabi, Darren Boyd, Joe Absolom, Emily Bruni and Jamie Davis.

A 2AM TV production for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland.
