Katherine Grimes appointed Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Chief Press Officer

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ has appointed Katherine Grimes to the post of Chief Press Officer.

In her new role, Katherine will act as a key editorial figure in the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's press operation.

Reporting to Head of Press Donald Steel and recently appointed Deputy Head of Press Ben Wilson, she will handle all aspects of media liaison and relations, including issues management for the portfolio of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ public services.

She will also take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Press Office. Μύ
Currently a Media Relations Manager for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Press Office, Katherine's appointment is with immediate effect.

As a Media Relations Manager at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, Katherine has been actively involved in managing many high profile corporate issues for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ.

Previously Katherine was a programme publicist for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Arts output, delivering successful campaigns for The Big Read and Simon Schama's Power Of Art. She was also a member of the team that launched Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Four.

Katherine began her career at PR agency Colman Getty, after studying History at Somerville College, Oxford.
