Waking The Dead and Silent Witness to return in 2009

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Drama Production confirmed today that two of its flagship drama series, Waking The Dead and Silent Witness, would return to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One in 2009.

Waking The Dead stars Trevor Eve as DI Boyd, the no-nonsense head of the Met's Cold Case Unit.

Sue Johnston, Tara Fitzgerald and Wil Johnson also return as members of Boyd's crack squad in the International Emmy award-winning drama series.

Filming of the new five-part series begins later this year for broadcast in 2009.

Silent Witness, starring Emilia Fox, Tom Ward and William Gaminara, returns for a new six-part series later this year, with a further five episodes commissioned for broadcast in 2009.
