Forced to confide in Craig about her precognition, together they investigate the case of a missing woman, concluding that she's been murdered.

But even Justine cannot predict the terrifying events that are about to unfold, which will involve them both, and those surrounding them, in terrible danger.

She finds she must attempt to prevent the apparently unpreventable and in doing so, makes a terrifying discovery about her own powerful gift.

Episode three

The familiarity of the Parapsychology Unit by day takes on an unnerving form by night when Justine oversees a routine sleep study for one of her students.

However, as the evening wears on it becomes clear this experiment is far from routine. The subject, Stuart, suffers night terrors but when student Chloe gives him sleeping tablets in order to study his trauma in greater depth, she accidentally unleashes dark and unexpected forces.

Unable to escape, and with the manifestations intensifying by the minute, Justine and Monaghan must find a way to unlock the secrets of Stuart's unconscious memory before it's too late.

Guests: Jim Webster-Stewart, Phoebe Thomas, Elliot Jordan, Phyllis Logan, Gilly Gilchrist.

Episode four

Craig and Justine are hired by Rosie, the Manager of a trendy metropolitan hotel, to expose a hoax haunting. However, what starts off as an enjoyable stay at the hotel's expense quickly turns into something more sinister.

As Monaghan investigates further, the origins of the haunting prove unexpected and devastating for Rosie and her family.

As the team struggle to break the cycle, they unwittingly unleash forces which will have far-reaching and tragic consequences.

Guests: Shauna McDonald, Ronald Pickup, Rae Hendrie.

Episode five

Craig and Justine dismiss a young man's fears of having his own death foreseen by a fortune-teller. But when the prediction comes true, and the man is found dead, Craig appears to be inexorably drawn into the same fatal danger by a beautiful, alluring, mysterious stranger.

When he apparently falls prey to an obsessive sexual desire, Justine must penetrate a world of Judaic mysticism and arcane folklore into demonic powers to uncover the terrible truth in time to help Craig.

Guests: Emma Campbell-Jones, Lucy Griffiths, Jonathan Holt.

Episode six

Monaghan, Craig and Justine investigate a young woman, Leah, who seems to be charged with a weird electrical power, only to find themselves plunged into the dark and sinister world of the occult.

When they realise she has been dabbling in magic in order to win back the affections of her charismatic ex-boyfriend, Christopher Chambers, the nature of what is confronting Leah begins to dawn upon them.

But, if Chambers isn't using magic to attack her, then the truth must be even more sinister.

Guests: Paul McGann, Kirsty Stuart, Ken Drury, Judith Sweeny, Peter Guinness.
