The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ hoist in Hyde Park is 206 foot tall and carries one manned High Definition
camera.

Over 15 miles of cabling will be used in the Hyde Park concert alone.

Over 35 cameras will be used to film the event - two are robotic cameras.

Over 200 microphones will be used.

One helicopter will circle the area, capturing the scale of Live 8 from
the air, and will be equipped with a robotic camera.

Over 50 people will be working the various cameras - plus 50 sound operators,
around 20 stage hands, 20 video tape editors, 15 communications experts
and around 40 production team producer/directors.

In terms of TV and Radio coverage combined on 2 July there will be
approximately 90 hours of coverage across Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ TWO and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ THREE
and all the radio networks.

Over 30 temporary buildings will be used to house artists (this figure is expected
to rise).

The stage uses 270 tons of steel and wood.

The stage roof is used to suspend more than 30 tons of sound, lighting and
video equipment.
