The Power of Life by
Emma Akuffo
|
Self-reliance
bears no resemblance
to love’s ambitions
creates the wrong ambience
stumbles and hinders
tarnishes with rust
love’s glorious shine
halting life’s power
stemming its flow
stoppering the life source
from which love grows
The power of life
is only realised
fully utilised
when love rises
and shines in Life’s eyes
