They're the creepy crawlies that are often found in gardens, on windows and sometimes even in our homes.

Experts say we can expect to see some spiders in our homes this autumn and they may be a little bigger than usual.

Professor Adam Hart, from the University of Gloucestershire, said he expected a "good spider season".

He says they might be 2 or 3mm bigger because the recent mild weather has meant there are more insects for the spiders to eat.

I saw a big giant spider in my room and I wasn't going to sleep until my mum got a piece of tissue and got hold of it and threw it out of the window and on to the road.
