Phil Parkinson believes his side's summer transfer window signings can help continue the "Wrexham story".

The Red Dragons brought in Mo Faal, Ollie Rathbone, Dan Scarr, Lewis Brunt, George Dobson, Seb Revan, Callum Burton and Arthur Okonkwo in the transfer market.

And Parkinson feels the additions will help Wrexham cope with the gruelling demands of the 2024-25 League One campaign.

"The transfer window is always a difficult one because some you miss out on, some you get," Parkinson said.

"I'm pleased with the people we've brought into the building to carry on this Wrexham story.

"When the games come thick and fast in the weeks to come, we'll make changes.

"We know we've got really good players to step in and we're enjoying working with the group and there's more to come from us."

Neil Warnock has paid an emotional tribute to Sol Bamba following the 39-year-old's passing.

Warnock was a long-time admirer of the Ivory Coast international and made him his first signing as Cardiff City boss in October 2016.

Bamba was a pivotal figure under the Yorkshireman as Cardiff staved off relegation in his first season in south Wales before gaining promotion into the Premier League in 2017-18 - with Bamba featuring in all 46 of the Bluebirds' Championship matches that season.

Paying tribute to Bamba on X, Warnock - who also worked with the centre-back at Middlesbrough - wrote: "I can’t believe I won’t see that beaming smile again.

"I’m so happy that Sol was part of my life and we had such brilliant memories together.

"I’m heartbroken for Chloe and the family and all my thoughts are with them.

"Sol was a ray of sunshine and I’ll miss him so much."

Luke Williams played down concerns over the fitness of Liam Cullen after he missed Swansea City's 1-0 defeat by West Bromwich Albion.

The striker was left out of the away side's squad for the Championship fixture at The Hawthorns due to an ankle injury.

But Swans head coach Williams does not expect Cullen to be on the sidelines for long.

"He picked up an injury in the last game," said Williams.

"He tried to train but it was too painful.

"We had the scan and it revealed a small injury that shouldn't take too long to recover from.

"We're expecting him back after the international break."

Cullen was included in Craig Bellamy's Wales squad for the Nations League matches against Turkey and Montenegro during the international break.
