The Shared Data Unit offers free training and support to local news partners throughout the year.
In the past two years, some 500 local journalists have taken one of its online courses in data and investigative journalism.
The interactive sessions equip journalists with the skills to find and tell stories from datasets.
We offer a varied and evolving range of classes teaching key technical skills including coding for journalists.
