THE
HOSPICES |
|
St
Richards Hospice is currently trying to raise £5.25 million
pounds for a brand new unit with beds
They
currently occupy a lovely old building in London Road in Worcester
which is too small and only suitable for day patients
Kemp
Hospice in Kidderminster is about to move to an old hotel which
they have purchased and hope to transform into a bedded hospice
They
hope to be ready to move to the site before the year is out
Primrose
Hospice in Bromsgrove has a day hospice in the town but is also
about to provide care beds at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital
in addition to the day care they offer
St
Michael's Hospice at Bartestree near Hereford has been established
at its present site for coming up to 20 years this September
They
have improvement and expansion plans and are also aware that after
twenty years, much of their equipment and fabric is beginning to
wear out
