Border fork
Like a digging fork but about half the size, it’s best for digging out largish weeds and where there’s plenty of space between plants.
Hand fork
Perfect for weeds between closely-spaced plants, such as perennials.
Old dinner fork
The solution for weeds between paving slabs and among small plants, such as alpines.
Dutch hoe
Excellent for weeding between rows of vegetables. Use regularly to catch the weed seedlings when they are small.
Chop hoe
Useful for removing larger weeds.
