Concert Information:

Join Paul Daniel and the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Philharmonic for a concert of dramatic contrasts, which opens with a glorious fanfare and high-speed brilliance in Shostakovich’s Festive Overture.

Â鶹ԼÅÄ New Generation Artist Elena Urioste brings a moment of calm in the lyrical Violin Concerto by Barber, but the mood soon livens again for the fiendishly energetic last movement.

In the second half we hear Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 2, for many the most romantic of all symphonies and certain to leave the audience feeling lifted to the rafters of Leeds Town Hall.
