The Â鶹ԼÅÄ Philharmonic and Chief Conductor Juanjo Mena end their 2014 tour of Europe in Heidelberg, Germany. They have been joined on tour by virtuoso percussionist Martin Grubinger for many performances of tonight’s concerti; no doubt this will be a very special evening as we hear Keiko Abe’s masterpiece for solo marimba, Prism and HK Gruber’s Rough Music performed as only the ‘wizard of percussion’ can. To end, one of Dvorak’s finest orchestral works, his Symphony No. 7.
