Embrace the sounds and creative spirit of Finland.

This is the land of a thousand lakes and Sibelius is its musical father. Hear the essence of the nation, its nature, history and myths, expressed in his rousing anthem for freedom, Finlandia, and his portrait of the fabled hero Lemminkäinen. Hear his legacy run through Rautavaara’s rippling, post-Impressionistic Lintukoto.

Experience ³Õä°ù³Ù³Ù¾±²Ôä, a folk-pop band that blends the rhymes, rhythms and vocal harmonies of Finno-Ugric singing traditions with a collective creative energy. Hear their unique, intoxicating sound both in solo sets and in collaboration with the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Concert Orchestra – a sound like no other.

Please note Conductor Charles Hazlewood has had to withdraw from tonight’s concert due to illness. Stephen Bell will conduct in his place.
