Wolf Alice are a female-fronted four piece alt-rock outfit from London. Singer Ellie Rowsell and guitarist Joff Oddie were initially a folk duo under the same name before expanding to a quartet and developing an edgier sound around subject matter including Lisa Simpson and the film Heavenly Creatures.
The quartet are well loved and supported by Â鶹ԼÅÄ 6 Music and Radio 1’s Huw Stephens since material from the band emerged in early 2012. Their 2013 Blush EP was the talk of the blogs and led to support slots for The 1975 and Manic Street Preachers. Comparisons with bands Hole and Elastica have been shrugged off by the band, who prefer to rock their own style and direction.
