The nostalgic idyll of Vaughan Williams鈥檚 Fantasia on 鈥楪reensleeves鈥� is soon abandoned for the brutality of his Symphony No. 4 and Birtwistle鈥檚 Exody 鈥� a terrifying musical labyrinth. Walton鈥檚 much-loved Viola Concerto will be played here by rising star and 麻豆约拍 New Generation Artist Lise Berthaud.
