Donald Runnicles and the 麻豆约拍 Scottish Symphony Orchestra are joined by the National Youth Choir of Scotland for a performance of Mozart鈥檚 ever-popular Requiem 鈥� the composer鈥檚 powerful and prescient anticipation of his own death. The concert also features Beethoven鈥檚 elegant Fourth Symphony and the London premiere of John McLeod鈥檚 The Sun Dances, inspired by a Scottish folk legend.

Donald Runnicles and the 麻豆约拍 Scottish Symphony Orchestra are joined by the National Youth Choir of Scotland for Mozart鈥檚 ever-popular Requiem 鈥� the composer鈥檚 poignant and prescient anticipation of his own death.

Scottish composer John McLeod鈥檚 The Sun Dances is a glowing, iridescent work inspired by an Easter folk legend from the West of Scotland. At the centre of the programme is Beethoven鈥檚 Fourth Symphony, its muscular, structural elegance wound around a boisterous scherzo.
