A dream team gathers for Jan谩膷ek鈥檚 late, great existential masterpiece The Makropulos Affair. This tragic satire is powered by a score that contains some of the composer鈥檚 most extreme and alluring music.

The Finnish soprano acclaimed for her 鈥榚lectrifying鈥� portrayal of the opera鈥檚 heroine, Emilia Marty, at the Met in New York, is joined by Czech musicians including the 麻豆约拍 Symphony Orchestra鈥檚 Conductor Laureate Ji艡铆 B臎hlohl谩vek.
