About This Event

Dr Sarah Dillon is joined by novelist Aminatta Forna to share readings about arriving in the USA. From Francis Spufford’s recreation of 18th century New York in the award winning Golden Hill, to Colm Toibin’s homesick heroine in Brooklyn, they’ll explore the awe-inspiring wonder and excitement of encountering the New World for the first time.
