Multi-talented Manchester sisters Hope and Mille Katana have been striking for the big time from an early age. Aged nine the pair started studying vocal harmonies before taking part in a CÂ鶹ԼÅÄ musical programme called The Clash where they ended up performing at Radio 1’s Big Weekend. An even bigger break was to come when they were cast as the Mansfield twins in Â鶹ԼÅÄ One’s Waterloo Road.
Now their focus is their music, tapping into their love of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Boys II Men to produce powerful soul and super tight harmonies. They are currently working on their first EP, which has Parker Ighile (Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Jessie J) on board as executive producer.
Before a name change, the duo were known as The Du’Montts and were played regularly on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Introducing in Manchester eventually catching the attention of Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 1Xtra’s MistaJam.
