Sadly David Wilson Johnson is no longer able to perform as Don Fernando, however we are pleased that Andrew Greenan is able to step in at short notice.
Deep in a dungeon, an innocent man lies chained. But while life goes on above him, someone has remembered his plight – and perhaps the new prison-warder Fidelio holds the key to his fate. Beethoven’s only opera was his favourite of all his works, and Fidelio is far more than just a nail-biting drama of secret identities and thrilling escapes.
