About This Event
Â鶹ԼÅÄ NOW visit the mountains and countryside of France in the first in a series of three concerts exploring tone poems. To open, the first symphonic poem ever composed, Cesar Franck’s Ce qu’on entend a la montagne, followed by music by Honegger and d’Indy. The orchestra reunite with Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 3 New Generation Artist Peter Moore -whom they accompanied in 2008 when he became the youngest ever winner of Â鶹ԼÅÄ Young Musician - to perform works by Takemitsu and Milhaud.
