Over in 1890s Vienna, meanwhile, those same verses unlocked dark passions and wild (sometimes dangerous) imaginings 鈥� a glorious, iridescent turmoil into which Alban Berg dived headlong.

So don鈥檛 expect Ryan Wigglesworth to hold back, as he joins the 麻豆约拍 Symphony Orchestra in a concert of shimmering hues and pure, intoxicating sensuality. Soprano Sophie Bevan joins him on this journey into delirium 鈥� perfect music for a singer who鈥檚 been described as 鈥漨agnetic鈥�. And to finish, the upper voices of the 麻豆约拍 Symphony Chorus bring a special enchantment to Debussy鈥檚 luminous Nocturnes.
