Join Diane Louise Jordan at Westminster Central Hall for At the Foot of the Cross, Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 2's meditation in words and music for Good Friday.
The Â鶹ԼÅÄ Concert Orchestra, Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 2's Young Choristers of the Year, soloists and special guests will join a specially assembled chorus of singers to perform John Rutter's Requiem as well as familiar hymns, spirituals and sacred music under the baton of James Burton.
Poetry and readings will tell the story of Christ's death, reflecting both on the sacrifice of Christ on Good Friday and also the sacrifice made by so many during World War I.
Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.
